  • Overview

    This Account Executive position will also work in conjunction with the appropriate technical teams on the needs / deliverables of the cloud solutions and represent CIS at cloud related events. This position will provide exceptional service to partners and prospective customers, representing CIS in a professional and courteous manner.

     

    A telecommute option is available for this Account Executive position.

    What You'll Do

    • Maintain a sales prospect pipeline by working closely with partners to assure ongoing sales success as outlined by sales leadership
    • Generate new business through aggressive prospecting to customers as needed by leveraging CIS’ sales automation and lead generation tools
    • Provide creative, innovative and potentially complex proposals for new customers and existing strategic customers that drive business value
    • Work jointly with the CIS Product Owners on the technical value proposition in assuring customer satisfaction
    • Provide accurate sales forecast to leadership and maintain up to date records in company CRM
    • Propose solutions to address complex client business problems with key decision makers
    • Maintain and develop relationships with key stakeholders at the major cloud computing vendors (i.e. AWS, Google, Azure, IBM, etc.)
    • Analyze and report on cloud usage to identify trends and market need including proper forecast / pipeline management
    • Deliver effective presentations either in person or remote
    • Position requires travel (approximately 65% of the time) for presentations, speaking engagements, customer visits, trade shows, etc.
    • Other duties as assigned

    What You'll Need

    • Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) from an accredited college in a technical or business discipline or equivalent sales experience with track record of success
    • Minimum of 3 years of prior Direct Sales experience
    • Minimum of 1 year of prior Cloud sales experience
    • A great attitude and strong desire for success
    • Proven ability in building and maintaining successful relationships with prospective and existing customers and channel partners
    • Strong technical aptitude and the ability to communicate advanced technical concepts
    • Familiar with and fluent using Salesforce
    • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications

    It's a Plus if You Have:

    • Strong marketing, business development and negotiation skills
