  • Overview

    This position will be responsible for effectively managing the sales process for existing customers and prospects. The Cybersecurity Solutions Account Representative will provide exceptional service to all prospective customers, representing CIS in a professional and courteous manner.

    What You'll Do

    • Educate State, Local, Tribal & Territorial (SLTT) entities on the value proposition of CIS Services including but not limited to Albert, Managed Security Services, Vulnerability Assessments, Penetration Testing & Phishing Engagements
    • Participate on service inquiry calls and guide the prospective customers through the quoting and contracting process
    • Coordinate the on-boarding process with customers, CIS Engineering and third-party vendors
    • Manage all activities through Salesforce
    • Work directly with CIS Engineering to provide updates to customers
    • Identify and anticipate upcoming customer renewal/up sell opportunities and coordinate and execute these opportunities through to completion.
    • Work with Distributors and Resellers for both new and renewal orders
    • Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned

    What You'll Need

    • Bachelor's* degree in a technical or business discipline
    • Minimum of 3-4 years of sales experience
    • Proven ability to meet and exceed customer success and retention
    • Ability to resolve client concerns and issues
    • Proven success in building and maintaining successful relationships with existing customers and channel partners
    • Familiar with and fluent using Salesforce.com and Microsoft Office
    • Ability to communicate advanced concepts
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Problem solving and decision-making skills
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and professional demeanor
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Must be authorized to work in the United States

    *Additional years of relevant experience or a combination of an Associate’s degree and relevant experience may be substituted for the Bachelor’s degree.

     

    It's a Plus if You Have:

    • Technical sales experience in IT hardware / software
    • Experience in State and local government procurement
