  • Overview

    CIS is seeking a highly driven, process/detail-oriented, and collaborative Project Manager who will serve as a member of the Sales and Business Services Team. This position will be responsible for coordinating internal resources, business partners, and vendor members for the flawless execution of projects- typically managing several projects simultaneously- ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget. You will work cross-functionally with several business units, business partners, vendor members and stakeholders. Ideal candidates should have a background in process development, program management, budgeting and analysis with demonstrated ability to get the best out of business partners as well as the people and projects that they oversee.

    What You'll Do

    • Coordinate internal resources, business partners, and third parties/vendor members for the successful execution of projects, including projects for CIS cloud services with multiple cloud service providers including but not limited to AWS, Azure, GCP and IBM
    • Manage risk, budget and resources to ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
    • Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring feasibility
    • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including, detailed project plans, schedules, project timelines and tracking of deliverables
    • Implement and manage change when necessary to meet project outputs
    • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
    • Monitor and minimize project risks; report and escalate to management as needed
    • Manage relationships among all stakeholders, including members and vendor members and business partners
    • Present to stakeholders reports on progress as well as problems and solutions
    • Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned

    What You'll Need

    • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field*
    • 5+ years’ experience in project management, especially larger projects with established firms
    • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
    • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
    • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
    • Proficiency in project management software tools
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and professional demeanor
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Must be authorized to work in the United States

    *Additional years of relevant experience or a combination of an Associate’s degree or equivalent and relevant experience may be substituted for the Bachelor’s degree.

     

    It's a Plus if You Have:

    • Master’s degree in business or a related field
    • PMP / PRINCE II certification is a plus
    • Experience in strategic planning, risk management and/or change management
    • Experience in Agile teams
    • Proficiency with project management software tools
    • Technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in web technologies
    • Experience with cloud services
