Overview

The purpose of the Senior Data Warehouse Engineer role is to consolidate information from various data sources, in order to develop insightful reports for stakeholders.

What You'll Do

  • Responsible for data architecture and infrastructure solutions to meet business objectives
  • Design and develop ETL (extract, transform, load) and data pipeline solutions
  • Lead data integration planning
  • Maintain, monitor, and perform routine integrity verification and validation tests to all operations data pipelines
  • Support data analysis and reporting initiatives and ad-hoc requests
  • Maintain a data dictionary and documentation
  • Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned

What You'll Need

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field*
  • Programming experience and a demonstrated interest in statistical analysis, informatics, analytics, or business intelligence
  • 3+ years of experience with data warehousing
  • Experience maintaining databases (Oracle is preferred)
  • Knowledge of data modeling concepts
  • Experience designing data warehouses, ETL pipelines, and working with data lakes
  • Proficiency in SQL
  • Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment, managing multiple competing priorities and assignments
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and professional demeanor
  • Excellent communication skills
  • The position is open to U.S. citizens and requires a favorably adjudicated DHS Fitness Review for Public Trust Positions
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States

*Additional years of relevant experience or a combination of an Associate’s degree or equivalent and relevant experience may be substituted for the Bachelor’s degree.
