Project Manager

The Project Manager position will facilitate the maturation of CIS’ program and project management capabilities through development of best practices, standards and tools, and facilitate application of these best practices across CIS. The Project Manager will also ensure that CIS’ Program Management Office leverages Agile processes and methods. The candidate will also oversee and facilitate the management of multiple projects.

What You'll Do

Facilitation and Best Practices

  • Establish and maintain best practices in program management including program/project tracking and reporting to drive consistency across CIS
  • Develop content and content management strategies to advance PMO collaboration and best practices initiatives, maintaining best practices, documentation, templates, tools, and presentation material
  • Assist in introducing practices such as Agile, Scrum and Kanban to all program/project managers
  • Leverage Lean practices of structured problem solving and continuous improvement

Project Management

  • Develop clear project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring feasibility
  • Create and Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including detailed project plans, schedules, project timelines and tracking of deliverables
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
  • Implement and manage change when necessary to meet project outputs
  • Anticipate, Monitor and minimize project risks; report and escalate to management as needed.
  • Manage relationships among all project stakeholders, including internal CIS customers, vendors, and business partners
  • Present project progress reports as well as identified problems and recommended solutions to stakeholders and management

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field*
  • 5+ years’ experience in facilitation, and project management
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • Experience developing processes and procedures to drive project management maturity
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States

It's a Plus if You Have:

  • PMP certification (or progress towards certification)
  • Strong presentation capabilities
  • Project Management experience in Cybersecurity field
  • Experience in strategic planning, risk management and/or change management
  • Proficiency with related software tools like MS Project, Excel or other

*Additional years of relevant experience or a combination of an Associate’s degree or equivalent and relevant experience may be substituted for the Bachelor’s degree.
