Procurement Intern

Job Locations US-NY-Clifton Park


The primary purpose of this position is to gain experience while providing essential purchasing functions. This position will gain experience in vendor management, administrative and operational assistance to the Purchasing team.

What You'll Do

  • Assist with vendor management and inventory control
  • Processing of purchase orders
  • Review documentation to ensure data is collected properly for auditing and recordkeeping
  • Assist in documenting procurement procedures and processes, forms, and internal communications around processesLearn processes of procurement and internal controls
  • Gain experience and knowledge in non-for-profit federal grant compliance
  • Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned

What You'll Need

  • 2+ years of study in Business Administration or related field
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and professional demeanor
  • Organizational skills, thorough attention to detail
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States

It's a Plus if You Have:

  • 2+ Years of Office Experience
  • Knowledge of Federal Purchase Compliance for Non for Profits
