We are in search of a dynamic Program Manager who is passionate about making a difference in the realm of Cybersecurity for State, Local, Tribal and Territorial governments (SLTT). The ideal candidate will be comfortable leading their team as we interface with both elected officials and technical staff to explain the concepts and services that can protect their technology. While a cybersecurity background is preferred, the ability to learn complex concepts and translate them to a varied audience is essential. As a leader of our Stakeholder Engagement team, the Program Manger will work with various constituencies to support and advance the mission of “confidence in a connected world”.

What You'll Do

  • Build and maintain successful relationships with prospective and existing members
  • Develop and implement a variety of outreach activities to increase member retention and drive awareness of our programs. This includes appearances at conventions and public events as a subject matter expert
  • Lead, mentor and coach team members with a diverse array of talents and responsibilities
  • Oversee team’s projects and work to ensure goals are achieved
  • Assist in the preparation and presentation of program results to varied audiences, including senior management and Federal partners
  • Direct outreach to SLTTs to encourage participation in CIS programs
  • Continuously improve Stakeholder Engagement processes, tools and software to ensure timely, individualized customer service and support
  • Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology or a related field*
  • 5+ years of work experience in customer or technical sales support, marketing or related field
  • Project management experience
  • Proven Stakeholder management or Program management skills
  • Marketing/sales/customer service background
  • Ability to accommodate mission-based overnight travel as necessary; approximately 5% travel is required
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • The position is open to U.S. citizens and requires a favorably adjudicated DHS Fitness Review for Public Trust Positions**
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States

It's a Plus if You Have:

  • Concentration in Cybersecurity or technology or industry recognized certifications (ex: CISSP, GIAC)
  • Experience working in a technology/software company or supporting technical products/customers
  • JIRA or other customer service ticketing platform experience
  • Excel proficiency
  • Salesforce CRM software experience

*Additional years of relevant experience or a combination of an Associate’s degree or equivalent and relevant experience may be substituted for the Bachelor’s degree.

 

**Factors that may cause a negative Fitness Review decision include:

  • Criminal Conduct
  • Dishonest Conduct
  • Employment Misconduct
  • Alcohol Abuse
  • Drug Use (illegal drug use or use of a legal drug in a manner that deviates from approved medical direction) Additionally, illegal drug use includes the use of drugs that are illegal for federal purposes despite being legal in select states and countries, such as marijuana.

  • Financial Issues
  • Have not resided in the US for three (3) of the past five (5) years
