B2B Marketing Director

The Director of Marketing for B2B is responsible for supporting the development of the CIS marketing strategy and overseeing the details of marketing strategy execution to drive key mission, revenue, and organizational metrics. 

What You'll Do

  • Lead, mentor, and coach team members
  • Develop and improve CIS’s marketing program and product marketability by researching, identifying and capitalizing on market opportunities
  • Create budgets, develop SOWs, review contracts, and participate in financial planning and reporting
  • Work cross-functionally to provide reporting and metrics by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends to demonstrate ROI of campaigns and activities, and continually refine strategies and tactics
  • Develop clear, concise, and well-researched presentations summarizing activities or proposals, with content and messaging appropriate to the target audience
  • Oversee and guide marketing team, in collaboration with various stakeholders, to improve marketing automation, advertising, outreach, and partner marketing programs
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the cybersecurity industry and its current events
  • Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field*
  • 5+ years’ experience in marketing, professional services, and/or communications
  • 3+ years’ direct experience leading, managing, or coaching a Marketing team
  • Prior experience with financial management and budget process
  • Proven track record of implementing successful marketing strategies
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to spot original marketing and branding opportunities
  • Strong attention to detail with an eye for style, spelling, and grammar
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States

It's a Plus if You Have:

  • Cybersecurity or related industry experience
  • Experience or certification in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Project management skills
  • Solid understanding of Google Analytics

*Additional years of relevant experience or a combination of an Associate’s degree or equivalent and relevant experience may be substituted for the Bachelor’s degree.
