Finance Analyst

The primary purpose of this position is to assist in the financial planning, analysis and projections for CIS’ sales programs. This position will assist in the forecast of future revenues and expenditures to establish cost structures and determine budgeting. This position will assist in managing multiple levels and subclasses in a detailed financial system, and be responsible for ensuring proper information and practices are being utilized in the sales financial function.

What You'll Do

  • Provide annual revenue and expenditures forecasting and quarterly re-forecasting
  • Analyze current and past financial data and performance
  • Create, validate, analyze and distribute financial reports and projections
  • Manage and improve compensation programs and plans to support the strategic initiatives of each sales team
  • Identify trends in financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Coordinate with members of the finance team to review financial information and forecasts
  • Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance*
  • 3+ years’ experience in Accounting, Finance or related work
  • Strong financial acumen and experience with revenue recognition
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail with accuracy and good record keeping
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office specifically Excel & PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate issues to all levels of management
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States

It's a Plus if You Have:

  • Demonstrated understanding of business practices and fundamental understanding of project management methodology
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with and/or training other colleagues
  • Experience with CRM software, preferably Salesforce
  • 5+ years’ experience in Accounting, Finance or related work

*Additional years of relevant experience or a combination of an Associate’s degree or equivalent and relevant experience may be substituted for the Bachelor’s degree.
