Cybersecurity Services Renewal Specialist

This position is responsible for effectively managing the retention process for existing customers. This position will provide exceptional service to existing customers; ensuring ongoing satisfaction and retention and representing CIS in a professional and courteous manner.

What You'll Do

  • Educate State, Local, Tribal and Territorial (SLTT) entities on the value proposition of CIS Services’ defense in depth approach to cybersecurity
  • Identify and anticipate upcoming customer renewal/up-sell opportunities; coordinate and execute through to completion
  • Ensure the retention of assigned accounts through regular communication
  • Work with Distributors and Resellers on renewals
  • Participate on service inquiry calls and guide our customers through the quoting and contracting process
  • Assist with connecting customers to appropriate technical support teams as needed
  • Manage all activities through Salesforce
  • Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline*
  • 1+ years’ of customer success experience
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed customer success and retention goals
  • Ability to resolve client concerns and issues, and communicate advanced concepts
  • Proven success in building and maintaining successful relationships with existing customers and channel partners
  • Familiar with and fluent using Microsoft Office and CRM
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Problem solving, time management and decision-making skills
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States

It's a Plus if You Have:

  • Technical selling experience for IT software or hardware
  • Experience in State and Local Government procurement and contract management
  • Salesforce experience
  • Experience working in an agile business environment

*Additional years of relevant experience or a combination of an Associate’s degree or equivalent and relevant experience may be substituted for the Bachelor’s degree.
