The Partner Relationship Manager is responsible for driving joint initiatives between CIS and its alliance partners. The Partner Relationship Manager will own initiatives across all areas of the business including sales, marketing, product, and programs. This role is also responsible for developing and strengthening a wide range of relationships within each alliance including C-level/leadership.

What You'll Do

  • Manage the relationships between CIS and our strategic alliance partners, maintaining relationships with all levels of partner counterparts
  • Ensure partner alignment metrics are accurately tracked and reported across internal systems (Salesforce)
  • Serve as the internal champion within CIS for our alliance partners, supporting CIS teams cross-functionally such as executive, product, sales, and marketing
  • Develop and execute joint business plans with each partner which includes sales, enablement, demand generation, and other key GTM elements
  • Deliver CIS enablement presentations and workshops to partner organizations
  • Support the identification, planning, and execution of strategic initiatives, leveraging the necessary internal departments to complete said initiatives
  • Evaluate new programs & opportunities with alliance partners and present opportunities to CIS leadership
  • Explore opportunities for CIS’s alliance partners to contribute their services and abilities to complement CIS’s services and mission for higher impact in serving the underserved

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Technology or related field*
  • 5+ years in business development, channel operations, partnerships or alliances related to the duties above
  • 1+ years’ experience working with Cloud providers (AWS, Microsoft, or Google)
  • Proven ability in building and maintaining successful relationships with prospective and existing customers and channel partners
  • Strong technical aptitude and the ability to communicate advanced technical concepts
  • Public speaking experience and an eagerness to grow this skillset
  • Ability to travel as needed to Partner meetings, trade shows and industry events
  • Full COVID-19 vaccination may be required
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States

It's a Plus if you Have:

  • Background in Cybersecurity
  • Familiar with CRM applications (Salesforce)

*Additional years of relevant experience or a combination of an Associate’s degree or equivalent and relevant experience may be substituted for the Bachelor’s degree.
