The Director of Market and Customer Intelligence is part of the Marketing team and will lead cross-functional collaboration across CIS to provide insights to help inform cybersecurity product/service, customer experience, sales, and marketing strategies. In this role, you will be responsible for building an intelligence function and researching, analyzing, and reporting on both market and customer intelligence from a variety of internal and external sources.

What You'll Do

  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of cybersecurity markets and trends (industry, social economic and political, legal and regulatory, customers, competitors, etc.)
  • Develop and maintain repositories for analyzing and sharing market and customer intelligence
  • Lead research and reporting of addressable market, market share, and growth projections
  • Create and implement processes to gather and analyze actionable competitive intelligence on an ongoing basis
  • Direct identification and validation of key market segments and customer demographic data
  • Perform SWOT/gap analysis of CIS products/services in comparison to market offerings
  • Aggregate and analyze voice of customer data including qualitative and quantitative research, indirect and unstructured data, and other sources
  • Develop and implement a market and customer intelligence maturity roadmap
  • Aggregate and distill insights/correlation and present to various audiences from management to executives
  • Support customer journey and persona development
  • Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Business Management, Data Science, or Marketing
  • 5+ years of demonstrable market and/or customer research experience, including data analysis
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills including written, verbal, and formal presentations
  • Ability to not only consume technical, financial, and business documentation fluidly and quickly, but also retain and articulate information based on research
  • Ability to associate and articulate the impact of technical capabilities on customer value and outcomes 
  • Strong facilitation skills to achieve alignment and clear decision making
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and perform under pressure
  • Strong project management and change management skills
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Full COVID-19 vaccination may be required

It's a Plus if You Have:

  • Deep insight into real-world customer issues through previous cybersecurity industry experience
  • Previous experience in product management or product marketing
  • Demonstrated ability to influence business leaders and cross-functional teams

*Additional years of relevant experience or a combination of an Associate’s degree or equivalent and relevant experience may be substituted for the Bachelor’s degree.
