The Website Marketing Lead will manage the roadmap and process for publishing content to our external website, and will support all areas of our business. Reporting to the Marketing Operations Manager, you will own the cisecurity.org experience, and will be responsible for driving website growth, optimizing the user experience, and driving engagement. You will work cross-functionally with campaign- and content-focused marketing teammates – as well as other stakeholders – to create, update, and report on performance of website content to ensure that our websites are tightly aligned with CIS business objectives.

 

This teammate must be detail oriented and able to work effectively in a fast-paced, continually evolving environment to deliver simultaneous projects on deadline both accurately and effectively.

What You'll Do

  • Publish and update content on CIS websites
  • Advise marketing colleagues and internal stakeholders on creative, impactful website strategies to support the mission and business goals of CIS.
  • Conduct web traffic data analysis to monitor website performance, enhance UX/UI, make recommendations for Search Engine Optimization, and drive improved visitor engagement.
  • Drive strategy and priorities for website improvements, including defining technical requirements, and execution roadmaps.
  • Stay up-to-date on privacy, security, and other compliance requirements, and ensure that related systems are in compliance.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Automation team on optimizing forms, landing pages, etc.
  • Work with branding marketing team to ensure appropriate brand guidelines standards and practices are employed in the development and operation of digital resources.
  • Work with developers and support staff to troubleshoot issues with web content or the general operation of the website as issues arise.
  • Support lead generation and email marketing efforts
  • Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned

What You'll Need

  • Associate’s Degree or advanced certifications in Marketing, Web Development or UX/UI
  • 4+ years of related work experience in the fields of Marketing, Web Development, and/or UX/UI.
  • Knowledge of HTML and image/site optimization.
  • Understanding of SEO best practices such as keyword research, content creation, site audits, and on-page optimization and personalization techniques.
  • General knowledge of website security, privacy and accessibility frameworks.
  • Experience with commonly used website technology platforms – especially WordPress and Sitecore.
  • Knowledge of A/B testing and common analysis/optimization tools (e.g., Google Optimize/HotJar).
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet project goals and deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail, interpersonal skills and professional demeanor.
  • Excellent collaboration skills and a demonstrated willingness to constructively challenge entrenched ideas.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Full COVID-19 vaccination may be required.

It's a Plus if You Have:

  • General knowledge in email/web marketing practices.
  • Passion for seeking out and understanding trends, innovative techniques, and technologies that can help position CIS’s digital media for future needs.
  • Experience working with outside agencies.
  • Knowledge of email marketing platforms such as Pardot a plus.
