We lead a global community of IT professionals to continuously evolve these standards and provide products and services to proactively safeguard against emerging threats.


The Partner Marketing Manager will develop and execute joint go-to-market plans and play a pivotal role in driving growth for CIS and its strategic partners. The ideal candidate will have significant partner marketing experience – both strategic and tactical – with a focus on large enterprise partnerships. You’ll be responsible for understanding alignment between CIS and partner initiatives and how together, we can help improve cybersecurity.

What You'll Do

  • Support the overall CIS marketing strategy by planning, managing, and executing marketing efforts with strategic partners.
  • Build strong relationships with counterparts at our partner organizations and develop a strategic understanding of how CIS adds value to their business, programs and channels, and clients.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand CIS’s value proposition and drive programs from concept through completion.
  • Help drive adoption of new and existing CIS solutions by developing compelling partner marketing campaigns that demonstrate the importance of CIS’s mission and value. 
  • Lead the development of partner ecosystem content and collateral, including joint content and ads, solution briefs, website updates, and training and enablement materials.
  • Identify and pursue partner-provided marketing opportunities that expand awareness with partners and customers, like partner conferences, promotional programs, enablement programs, and internal and external partner-led communications.
  • Work cross functionally with all internal CIS teams including Product, Marketing, Business Development, Alliance Management, Sales, and Member Success to accelerate partner success.
  • Track and measure the effectiveness of partner marketing efforts, providing ROI and making adjustments as needed.
  • May be called upon to travel to events as needed to provide support as needed.
  • Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a business, marketing, or other related discipline
  • 5+ years in partner marketing, preferably in technology, enterprise software, or cybersecurity
  • Experience managing market development funds (MDF)
  • Excellent written communication and presentation skills
  • Strategic, analytical thinker with a pragmatic, data-driven mindset
  • Keen ability to bring customer centric perspective into go-to-market process
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work and collaborate cross-functionally
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Full COVID-19 vaccination may be required.

It's a Plus if You Have:

  • Experience with AWS, Microsoft, or Google partner programs
  • Experience with digital and social media marketing, data and analytics, and product management
  • Experience with marketing tools including SproutSocial, Pardot, Salesforce, Sitecore, Google Analytics, Microsoft Office, and others.

*Additional years of relevant experience or a combination of an Associate’s degree or equivalent and relevant experience may be substituted for the Bachelor’s degree.
