The Center for Internet Security (CIS) makes the connected world a safer place for people, businesses, and governments through our core competencies of collaboration and innovation. We lead a global community of IT professionals to continuously evolve these standards and provide products and services to proactively safeguard against emerging threats.

This position is with the Multi-State Information and Analysis Center (MS-ISAC). We are in search of a dynamic self-starter who is passionate about making a difference in the realm of Cyber Security for State, Local, Tribal and Territorial governments (SLTT). The ISAC’s are DHS designated focal points for protection, prevention, response and recovery for the SLTT community. As a member of our team, you will work with some of the finest experts in cybersecurity to assist our members in securing their governmental systems.

• Build relationships and encourage the growth of communities within the wider SLLT landscape
• Coordinate resource sharing and activities with our Federal Partners
• Enable efficient and prioritized engagement with DHS/CISA and other elements in existing regional events and activities and promote joint planning and coordination for additional regional events without competing with DHS/CISA and other partners in the region
• Actively promote advancement of IG1 adoption across the SLTT regions and groups
• Continuously improve strategies for increasing membership and outreach to existing members and collaborate with team in the planning and execution
• Attend and participate in conventions and public events and serve as a Subject Matter Expert
• Provide support in the use of ISAC Programs tools and portals
• Maintain and improve reporting schema on all aspects of the ISAC membership
• Assist in preparing and presenting program results to varied audiences, including senior management and our Federal partners
• Other duties as assigned

• Bachelor’s degree at an accredited college or university in a related field*
• 3+ years of work experience in a related field
• 3+ years of experience in working with and/or influencing external and internal teams
• Proven ability in building and maintaining successful relationships with varied stakeholders
• Ability to accommodate mission based overnight travel as necessary, up to 30%
• Public Speaking experience
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Ability to learn complex concepts and translate them to various audiences
• Full COVID-19 vaccination may be required
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• The position is open to U.S. citizens and requires a favorably adjudicated DHS Fitness Review for Public Trust Positions**

It's A Plus If You Have:

• Concentration in Cybersecurity or technology or industry recognized certifications are a plus (ex: CISSP, GIAC)
• Salesforce CRM software experience
• Superior customer relations skills
• Project Management experience

*Additional years of relevant experience or a combination of an Associate’s degree or equivalent and relevant experience may be substituted for the Bachelor’s degree.
