Overview

The primary purpose of this position is to support a detailed business analysis program, outlining problems, opportunities and solutions. The Senior Sales and Financial Analyst manages reporting and analysis of all aspects of the Sales and Business Services (SBS) operations including pipeline, performance metrics, trends, forecasting and opportunities at team, regional and global levels. It also includes budgeting, financial modeling and pricing, providing management with a complete picture of business performance for the whole division including but not limited to sales, renewals and professional services.

What You'll Do

  • Forecasting and Pipelining – Supports the Director with the SBS department budgets and maintains a comprehensive understanding of performance of various programs 
  • Reporting and Analysis – Creation, validation, analysis and distribution of all management and executive level requirements, working with a team of analysts and planning for future analysis needs
  • Process Improvement – Continual development of business analysis program for better decision making
  • Mentor and coach teammates
  • Work cross-functionally to help teams draw conclusions and improvements from the data
  • Participate in strategy discussions to help leadership identify areas of opportunity
  • Gather and analyze usage and environment details to better understand customer uses cases and geo / vertical targeting
  • Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or related field*
  • Strong financial acumen and experience with revenue recognition
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office specifically Excel & PowerPoint
  • 6+ years’ experience in sales and financial analysis as related to the duties above
  • A great attitude and strong desire for success
  • 3+ year experience with Salesforce
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills 
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States

It's a Plus if You Have

  • 5+ year experience with Salesforce
  • Demonstrated understanding of business practices and fundamental understanding of project management methodology.
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with and/or training other colleagues.
  • Strong marketing, business development, and negotiating skills.
  • Experience with “Configure, Price Quote” software.

*Additional years of relevant experience or a combination of an Associate’s degree or equivalent and relevant experience may be substituted for the Bachelor’s degree.
