Overview

CIS is seeking a highly driven, process/detail-oriented, creative, and collaborative Project Facilitator who will serve as a member of the Sales and Business Services (SBS) Operations Team. This position will be responsible for a defined SBS Project Portfolio and coordination of CIS projects, led by both SBS and other departments. Ideal candidates should have a background in process development, project management and analysis with demonstrated ability to get the best out of all units/partners as well as the people and projects that they oversee. In addition to facilitating projects, this position will take lead on creating and maintaining SBS Operations Standard Operating Procedures.

What You'll Do

  • Take point and collaborate with project managers and assist SBS leadership to ensure effective use and coordination of SBS team members that are also involved in projects to reduce the impact to business operations
  • Coordinate cross functionally and manage relationships with CIS resources, members and business partners for the successful execution of multiple projects simultaneously
  • Communicate to stakeholders regarding project progress, risks, budget, escalations, solutions and resources
  • Facilitate collaborative sessions to support business process development/improvement and contribute to solution engineering
  • Assimilate data points across projects and educate colleagues on similarities or duplication of efforts and help establish actionable plans
  • Provide objective recommendations in meetings when blockers present themselves
  • Drive a culture of innovation, simplification and continuous improvement through best practice sharing, advocacy, and hands-on leadership
  • Utilize problem-solving techniques and business analysis methodology to guide discussions to a successful resolution
  • Analyze and understand current issues and conflicts
  • Recommend project management techniques/tools as needed
  • Periodically lead projects from beginning to end and facilitate project logistics to support the SBS activities
  • Coordinate and develop training related to project work to ensure users can utilize solutions
  • Assist with SOP documentation/training and lead SBS Ops in this initiative to include supporting SBS business units as needed
  • Adhere to and train others on certain processes and procedures
  • Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field*
  • 5+ years’ experience in project management
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent facilitation/collaboration skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Proficiency in project management software tools
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and professional demeanor
  • Excellent customer service skills

It's a Plus if You Have:

  • PMP / PRINCE II certification is a plus
  • Experience in strategic planning, risk management and/or change management
  • Experience with Agile methodologies
  • Technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in web technologies

 

*Additional years of relevant experience or a combination of an Associate’s degree or equivalent and relevant experience may be substituted for the Bachelor’s degree.
