The Research and Innovation Process Lead will support the Chief Technology Officer with research and initiatives aligned to CIS mission and goals. The role will support ongoing market and technology research impacting the long-term strategy for security technology and evolution. Technical strategy research include researching and understanding current capabilities of large providers as well as emerging technology from startups and research developments.
The Research and Innovation Process Lead will manage collaborative efforts across business units at CIS when investigating process or project improvements. When appropriate, this will follow innovation processes to formalize the approach, ensure collaboration, and to aid in the identification of intellectual property development.
Bachelor’s Degree in Cybersecurity, Technology or related field*
3+ years’ work-related experience
Strong understanding of virtual environment security, architecture, data models, and security controls
Strong understanding on configuration automation protocols, including attestation, and of Risk Assessment on service offerings
Strong research and presentation abilities
Strong editing and documentation abilities
Experience working with variety of audiences and supporting teams across a variety of efforts
Ability to work collaboratively, facilitating updates based on consensus
Must be authorized to work in the United States
It's a Plus if you have:
5+ years of work experience
*Additional years of relevant experience or a combination of an Associate’s degree or equivalent and relevant experience may be substituted for the Bachelor’s degree.
