Technology and Innovation Intern - Remote

Reporting to the VP of Technology & Innovation, the intern will partner with other cybersecurity team members within Operations and Security Services, Stakeholder Engagement and the Project Management Office to support our mission.  The primary purpose of this position is to gain experience and exposure while providing administrative and operational support to the OSS team.  The Intern will assist the team with the federally funded Email Protection Service (EPS) and Web Application Firewall (WAF) initiatives, assisting with member qualification and verification and various other administrative duties.


This is a paid internship opportunity.

What You'll Do

  • Support the development and execution of the EPS / WAF strategy and mission
  • Membership onboarding, outreach, technology research, polling, and reporting
  • Assist with data cleanup, reporting, and any ongoing projects
  • Customer service outreach via emails and phone calls
  • Develop, maintain and/or document procedures and workflows
  • Update metrics in EI-ISAC reports and presentation slides
  • Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned

What You'll Need

  • 2 years of study in Communications, Business, Cybersecurity, or related field
  • Ability to cultivate and maintain supportive relationships
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel which is used to track member status
  • Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and accuracy with grammar and spelling
  • Strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor
  • Strong communication, problem solving, collaboration, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
  • Ability to handle confidential member information
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • The position is open to U.S. citizens and requires a favorably adjudicated DHS Fitness Review for Public Trust Positions**

It's A Plus If You Have:

  • Demonstrated interest in cybersecurity or technology
  • Experience with Sales Force, JIRA / Confluence

*Additional years of relevant experience or a combination of an Associate’s degree or equivalent and relevant experience may be substituted for the Bachelor’s degree.
