The Cloud Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining cloud infrastructure. The CE will ensure the security and configuration of our enterprise devices, meet all required CIS standards, best practices, and approved levels of compliance.

• Full life-cycle systems engineering: design, configuration, implementation, and management.
• Implement and maintain Cloud infrastructure and on-premise infrastructure and ensure each environment adheres to foundational best practices and compliance standards.
• Automate and script systems and cloud infrastructure.
• Identify and drive improvements in infrastructure and system reliability, performance, monitoring and overall stability of CIS systems.
• Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

• 4+ years' experience as a Systems Engineer.
• 2+ years' managing VMware vCenter environment.
• 3+ years' of professional Cloud experience (AWS, Azure or GCP).
• Hands-on experience with building out Cloud Environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience working in a hybrid Cloud environment.
• Experience in writing in one or more programming languages (Python, shell scripts, etc.).
• Experience using IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Experience using Configuration Management tools (SaltStack, Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
• In-depth knowledge of Windows and/or Linux server operating Systems.
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal skills, professional demeanor, verbal and written communication skills, and customer service skills
• Must be authorized to work in the United States

It's a plus if you have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field or equivalent work experience*
• Cloud based certifications
• Experience working with Security Best Practices (CIS, DISA, PCI)
• Experience working with Security Auditing tools (Nessus, Cloudcheckr)
