The Vice President of Sales is a key executive leadership role on the Sales and Business Services team at the Center for Internet Security. Reporting to the Executive Vice President & General Manager of Sales and Business Services, the Vice President of Sales is responsible for leading the sales function and responsible for achieving and exceeding the organizations revenue, customer acquisition, and retention goals. This role is responsible for developing, driving, and supporting sales process, pipeline metrics and productivity, territory planning and forecasting. The CIS sales programs target US State, Local, Tribal and Territorial (SLTT) government organizations through our CIS Cybersecurity Services Program and national and international commercial entities, and governments for CIS SecureSuite membership and Cloud security offerings. This is a highly visible position that will work closely with the CIS leadership, marketing, product, legal, and operations teams on establishing sales targets, go-to-market strategy, and messaging to meet organization objectives. This would include the development and implementation of a comprehensive internal and external sales plan that will increase revenue. This position is also responsible for the development of strategic sales plans based on company goals that will promote sales growth and customer satisfaction. The Vice President of Sales is expected to uphold the mission and values established by the organization.
