The IT Support Intern’s role is focused on helping end users be successful, secure, and productive using the technology assets provided to them by CIS. The IT Support Intern will work under the direction of the IT Support Manager. This role will require 20-30 hrs per week.

What You'll Do

  • Provide outstanding customer service to all end users
  • Ensure security best practices are central to decision making
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and technology issues
  • Maintain log and/or list of required repairs and maintenance
  • Categorize and track IT inventory stock
  • Load and configure all required software including office applications, E-mail, Anti-Virus, and internet programs.
  • Perform other duties as required including lifting of objects of up to 50 lb
  • Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

What You'll Need

  • Enrollment or study in Information Technology, or past experience support IT teams.
  • Be familiar with common PC and Mac hardware and software packages.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and professional demeanor.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.

*Additional years of relevant experience or a combination of an Associate’s degree or equivalent and relevant experience may be substituted for the Bachelor’s degree.
