Overview

The Senior Contract Manager is responsible for contract management and support within the Legal Department and serves as a liaison and expert on contract lifecycle management (CLM) for CIS.

Salary Range: $79,100 - $119,800

What You'll Do

  • Serve as subject matter expert on CLM for the Legal Department and CIS generally
  • Collaborate with representatives from CIS business units and functions (Sales & Business Services, Security Best Practice, CIS Services, Procurement, Operations & Security Services, Finance, etc.) to maintain a contract database and tracking system for all executed contracts for CIS
  • Establish playbooks and business workflows supported by CLM systems, which you will manage with other members of CIS business units
  • Leverage CLM technology to identify and apply key risk management governance programs in connection with compliance monitoring, risk reporting and design, and implementation of mitigation strategies
  • Participate in the Data Governance Committee and serve as the Data Steward for the Legal Department
  • Develop presentations and resources on the CLM process and provide training to staff
  • Create and maintain contract templates for the Legal Department
  • Negotiate procurement and sales contracts upon the request of the General Counsel and Chief Legal Officer
  • Conduct special projects and initiatives as assigned by the General Counsel and Chief Legal Officer
  • Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field*
  • Minimum of 5 to 7 years’ experience in a corporate legal or law firm environment
  • Expertise in CLM processes and procedures utilizing DocuSign and Salesforce
  • Excellent written, communication, and proofreading skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others, including outside counsel and other parties
  • Ability to think critically in analyzing and solving problems in an efficient manner
  • Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks while maintaining confidentiality
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Professional demeanor
  • Self-starter who is proactive and can work independently with minimal oversight
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States

It's A Plus If You Have:

  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited institution
  • Active member of the National Contract Management Association
  • Experience working with a not-for-profit entity

*Additional years of relevant experience or a combination of an Associate’s degree or equivalent and relevant experience may be substituted for the Bachelor’s degree.
