Overview

The primary purpose of this position is to identify prospects and build relationships to acquire and retain customers for CIS Cloud solutions. This position will provide exceptional service to all customers, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and retention and representing CIS in a professional and courteous manner, including travel to events.

What You'll Do

  • Maintain accurate forecasts and healthy sales pipeline
  • Cultivate qualified leads and manage the entire sales process through close of opportunity, meeting or exceeding monthly targets
  • Input and manage all sales opportunities through CRM system (Salesforce)
  • Maintain high level of knowledge on products, markets, and competition to solve creative and complex customer needs
  • Leverage customer feedback to further enhance CIS offerings and marketshare
  • Develop and deliver customer product presentations both virtually and at events
  • Establish a working relationship with cloud service providers to complement Product team development
  • Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical or business discipline*
  • 1+ years’ technical selling experience for cloud, SaaS or similar offerings
  • A great attitude and strong desire for success
  • Proven success in building and maintaining successful relationships with prospective and existing customers and channel partners
  • Familiar with CRM system, preferably Salesforce
  • Strong technical aptitude and the ability to communicate advanced technical concepts
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States

It's a Plus if You Have:

  • 3+ years’ technical selling experience
  • Demonstrated understanding of business practices and fundamental understanding of project management methodology
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with and/or training other colleagues
  • Strong marketing, business development, and negotiating skills

*Additional years of relevant experience or a combination of an Associate’s degree or equivalent and relevant experience may be substituted for the Bachelor’s degree.
