Overview

The Partner Relationship Specialist will be responsible for helping to support joint initiatives between CIS and our Strategic Cloud Service Provider (CSP) Partners, as well as potentially others in the future. The specialist will own initiatives across all areas of the business, including sales, marketing, product, and programs. This position will build and support relationships with our partners and internally with key stakeholders.

Salary Range: $79,100 - $119,800

What You'll Do

  • Help manage initiatives and projects between CIS and our strategic alliance partners, such as AWS, Microsoft, and Google, maintaining relationships with all levels of partner counterparts
  • Responsible for managing and keeping track of all CSP’s programs and requirements, partner portals, and certifications
  • Project manage a variety of partner initiatives, as well as other associated tasks 
  • Ensure partner alignment metrics are accurately tracked and reported across internal systems, such as Salesforce and Confluence
  • Serve as an internal champion within CIS for AWS, Microsoft, and Google supporting Partner Alliances and CIS teams cross-functionally as needed in product, sales, and marketing, including co-selling and co-marketing activities
  • Assist to maintain and execute joint partner plans in support of mutually beneficial goals, metrics, and initiatives established for sales, enablement, demand generation, and other key GTM elements
  • Assist with any CIS enablement presentations, marketing materials, and other in conjunction with Sales and Marketing for our partners
  • Support the identification, planning, and execution of strategic initiatives, leveraging the necessary internal departments to help complete said initiatives
  • Evaluate partner programs with alliance partners and communicate any changes, requirements, benefits to CIS stakeholders
  • Keep up-to-date on industry trends related to the CSP’s and the associate market to identify any opportunities and/or challenges for CIS and Partner Alliances
  • Help to explore opportunities for CIS’s CSP partners to contribute their services and abilities to complement CIS’s services and mission for higher impact in serving the underserved
  • Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Technology or related field*
  • 2+ years in business development, channel operations, partnerships, or alliances related to the duties above
  • Experience working with the CSP’s or other large Strategic Partners in the IT industry
  • Knowledge of the AWS, Microsoft, Google, and their Partner programs and solutions
  • Ability to support partner planning and metric attainment for Alliance Partner
  • Proven ability in maintaining successful relationships with prospective and existing partners
  • Ability to communicate effectively with Partners and internal stakeholders at CIS
  • Project or Program Management experience
  • Ability to travel as needed to Partner meetings, trade shows, and industry events
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States

It's a Plus if You Have:

  • Background in Cybersecurity
  • Familiar with CRM applications (Salesforce) and (Confluence)
  • AWS, Microsoft, Google Certifications are helpful but not required

*Additional years of relevant experience or a combination of an Associate’s degree or equivalent and relevant experience may be substituted for the Bachelor’s degree.
