Overview

As a member of the Human Resources team, the Technical Talent Development Manager will work within the Learning and Development Organization to support employee upskilling within various technical proficiencies. This position requires a blend of deep technical expertise and a strong understanding of adult learning principles. The Technical Talent Development Manager will collaborate closely with all areas of the business to design, develop, implement, and deliver training in a wide variety of technical competencies, including (but not limited to) Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, Data Analytics, and more. By leveraging advanced technical skills and knowledge of effective adult learning strategies, this role will work extensively to build the capabilities of our technical teams, thereby supporting organizational growth and employee development.

Salary Range: $80,900 - $122,500

What You'll Do

  • Develop, implement, and support a wide variety of technical learning programs and initiatives
  • Conduct and facilitate training sessions using various methods, including in-person workshops, virtual classrooms, and e-learning platforms, ensuring engagement and effective knowledge transfer
  • Develop and curate technical resources and learning content using a variety of mediums, including digital learning platforms
  • Integrate cutting-edge technologies such as virtual labs, simulation tools, and interactive platforms into training programs to enhance hands-on learning and practical application of technical skills
  • Partner with business leaders to perform regular assessments to identify skill gaps and training needs across technical teams, aligning training initiatives with organizational goals
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices by engaging in continuous learning and professional development
  • Work closely with technical experts and team leaders to ensure training content is accurate, relevant, and aligned with current industry standards and practices
  • Establish and manage relationships with external training providers, industry organizations, and academic institutions to bring in specialized training programs and certifications that enhance technical proficiencies
  • Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Organizational Development, Technology or a related field*
  • 4+ years’ experience in a technical field (e.g. network engineering, software engineering, Dev-Ops engineering)
  • 2 years’ experience developing and delivering technical training programs across various formats, including in-person, virtual, and e-learning platforms
  • Strong technical aptitude and knowledge of software engineering best practices
  • Demonstrated experience working collaboratively with business leaders to identify organizational learning needs and developing and delivering learning solutions
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills, both in person and virtual, with ability to communicate to various audiences
  • Strong organizational, planning, and project management skills
  • Demonstrated commitment and desire to work with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States

It's a Plus if You Have:

  • Experience with emerging technologies such as virtual labs, simulation tools, and interactive platforms, demonstrating a capability to integrate these into training programs
  • Experience in adult learning theory and principles
  • Experience in cybersecurity
  • Experience in AWS Cloud environments including web application infrastructures
  • Professional certifications, such as SHRM-CP, CPTM, CPTD, CompTIA CTT
  • Solid foundation in SDLC and working experience in the Agile process framework

*Additional years of relevant experience or a combination of an Associate’s degree or equivalent and relevant experience may be substituted for the Bachelor’s degree.
