Overview

The Talent Acquisition Specialist’s primary responsibility is to support the organization’s hiring processes.  As a main point of contact for candidates and hiring managers, the Talent Acquisition Specialist (TA Specialist) will help CIS obtain top talent through an inclusive and efficient hiring process, while maintaining a positive candidate experience.

Salary Range: $59,200 - $89,600

What You'll Do

  • Perform full cycle recruiting, acting as the primary recruiter for a subset of open roles, including reviewing resumes, screening candidates, and working with hiring managers to track and advance the hiring process
  • Maximize the candidate experience by identifying ways to improve process efficiency and effectiveness, sharing ideas with the TA team
  • Work closely with hiring managers to determine talent needs and support the recruitment process, with a focus on prompt action and reducing delays in the process 
  • Advise managers on CIS’s hiring process and best practices, identifying potential improvements with the hiring manager or TA team 
  • Track candidates throughout hiring process, focusing on frequent touchpoints and a positive experience for candidates 
  • Continuously build a robust pipeline of talent, including direct sourcing of candidates, and participating in hiring events 
  • Address challenging roles, delays, and potential issues/risks to the TA team for additional support and awareness
  • Assist Human Resources teammates with various programs and projects as needed
  • Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or related field*
  • 3+ years’ experience in a recruitment position acting as the primary recruiter for open positions
  • 2+ years in Customer Service, Sales, or related work
  • Experience using an Applicant Tracking System, Kanban, or Project Management tools
  • Demonstrated experience sourcing candidates through various channels (e.g. social media, LinkedIn, job boards, etc. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and direct experience interviewing candidates 
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States

It's a Plus if you have:

  • Experience working in an agile environment 
  • Experience with Technology, SaaS, or Cybersecurity recruitment 
  • Corporate/In-house recruitment experience

*Additional years of relevant experience or a combination of an Associate’s degree or equivalent and relevant experience may be substituted for the Bachelor’s degree.
