Overview

The Procurement and Acquisition Manager will support an expanding team, within a rapidly growing cybersecurity company, and will report directly to the Senior Director of Procurement and Acquisitions. The Procurement and Acquisition Manager will oversee the staff of the procurement organization. This position will be responsible for helping establish a procurement organization that is aligned with industry best practices. This position will also act as an individual contributor, leading complex negotiations focusing on a wide range of products and services. Procurement activities are inclusive of agreements that focus on a wide range of services, system solutions, technology, IT, consulting, commodities, and other business requirements. This role is highly collaborative and will work cross-functionally with leaders of internal business units.

Salary Range: $80,900 - $122,500

What You'll Do

  • Showcase leadership through coaching, mentoring, and driving the Procurement team to be a world class organization
  • Implement industry best practices and ensure organizational skills in procurement and supplier management
  • Identify, track, and achieve cost-reduction opportunities in CIS acquisition and procurement efforts
  • Provide supervision and management to the CIS Procurement team, including assigning work, monitoring task completion, staff development, and ensuring a collaborative environment
  • Facilitate CIS’ bidding on new opportunities, maintaining excellent communication with stakeholders
  • Collaborate cross functionally to develop a clear understanding of CIS business units and their needs, complete negotiations, and improve CIS business processes
  • Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field*
  • 5+ years of managing teams responsible for procurement, vendor management, and sourcing/ supply chain
  • Advanced knowledge of strategic and highly complex procurement, strategic sourcing, and vendor management practices
  • Experience in procuring large-scale, complex, technology-based systems
  • Proven track record in pre-award, negotiation, and execution of complex consulting agreements
  • Familiar with industry best practices pertaining to procure-to-pay (P2P) systems
  • Extensive knowledge of software license terms and regulations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that requires quickly adapting to changes
  • Strong written and verbal communication, ability to present to senior leadership, strategic mindset, and problem-solving capabilities
  • Extensive experience with various types of procurement vehicles, including RFI, RFQ, RFP, etc.
  • Experience with procurement software solutions
  • Must reside within the United States
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States

It's a Plus if You Have:

  • MBA or advanced degree
  • Non-for-profit procurement experience
  • Knowledge of Office of Management and Budget, Uniform Guidance
  • Experience with Workday enterprise resource planning (ERP)
  • Procurement/Supply Chain certification

*Additional years of relevant experience or a combination of an Associate’s degree or equivalent and relevant experience may be substituted for the Bachelor’s degree.
